Juanita Redfield, MD

I trained in family medicine in Illinois and moved here with my husband to enjoy the mountains. I love to run, hike, and camp. I now have four adopted children, and I volunteer with several adoption agencies teaching a class about medical considerations in adoption and breast-feeding the adopted baby. I attend church in Boulder and consider my faith an essential part of my life and practice of medicine.

I work half-time in clinical practice and devote the rest of my time to working on programs for cardiovascular risk reduction and tobacco cessation. I enjoy caring for sports injuries -- a concentration in my residency program. I love seeing families (it's why I went into family medicine) and especially children. I also enjoy helping families navigate the process of adoption.

NOTE:  Dr. Redfield is migrating to the Brighton, Colo., area to help open the new Kaiser Permanente clinic in Brighton, scheduled to open later this summer.   If you are interested in selecting Dr. Redfield as your primary care physician at the Brighton clinic, please contact the Personal Physician Selection Service team at 303-338-4477.
