John F. Riopelle, DO

I joined Kaiser Permanente nearly eight years ago after completing my fellowship in Gastroenterology at the University of Colorado. Practicing medicine at KP has allowed me to emphasize the importance of disease prevention and health maintenance with my patients. Knowledge about diseases is always growing, sometimes making it more difficult for patients to understand the complexities of a particular diagnosis.

I believe that educating our members about their particular disease state allows them, while working closely with their physicians, to make informed decisions about their own care.

Being the father of three children, I spend much of my time outdoors enjoying all that Colorado has to offer. Skiing, both downhill and cross-country, occupy much of the winter months.
